Distribution of Monthly and Seasonal Means:
NCEP/NCAR Reanalysis

How do the current month or season's temperature and precipitation values compare with those in the past? By clicking over a location or entering a lat/lon and "create plot", you will obtain a plot of the distribution of the monthly or seasonal values from 1958-1998 for the location chosen together with general statistics and the current value.
